We developed a child-friendly branding and logo design for Inspire Together—an organisation that supports children in nurturing, empowering spaces. The final identity balances playful visuals with a calm, professional tone to resonate with both families and therapists alike.

Our collaboration with Inspire Together was built on a meaningful objective—to create a powerful visual identity through child-friendly branding that resonated with both children and professionals. Inspire Together, an organisation supporting children’s development through inclusive and nurturing programmes, needed a brand that would reflect their ethos: compassionate, supportive, and growth-focused.
We began the process with a detailed discovery phase, speaking with Marie Claire to understand the organisation’s values, audience, and goals. Using her insight and the completed branding questionnaire, we developed a foundation rooted in empathy and purpose. From the very beginning, child-friendly branding was more than just a design style—it was a tone, a message, and an emotional connection we needed to get right.
Research played a big part. We analysed best practices in educational and therapeutic branding to determine how we could balance professionalism with playful warmth. It was important to ensure our approach didn’t lean too far into cliché or overly juvenile visuals. Our goal was to create child-friendly branding that stood the test of time, offered versatility, and supported the organisation’s credibility.
We explored several visual directions, focusing on symbols like stars, puzzle pieces, and flowing lines—each representing achievement, collaboration, and growth. The chosen logo concept featured a soft star, reflecting encouragement and positive reinforcement. This icon became the cornerstone of our child-friendly branding concept, symbolising the guiding light Inspire Together offers to children and families.
The colour palette played a significant role. We selected calming tones—sage green, vanilla, and warm neutrals—to reflect a nurturing and gentle atmosphere. These shades are widely used in spaces where children are supported emotionally, giving the design a reassuring tone. This palette was essential in anchoring our child-friendly branding in emotional resonance.
Typography was another key element. Rounded, modern fonts provided legibility and a welcoming feel without veering too far into childish territory. This helped ensure that the branding could speak equally well to parents, therapists, and partners.
Once we finalised the core elements, we worked collaboratively with the Inspire Together team to refine the logo and supporting visuals. Each iteration was driven by feedback and shaped by their vision. We ensured that the final identity would work across digital and print, in colour and in grayscale—making the child-friendly branding both beautiful and functional.
The finished brand identity was packaged into a detailed brand guideline document, which included logo usage, colour breakdowns, typography specs, and real-life mockups. This gave the Inspire Together team the tools to confidently apply their branding across everything from social media to signage.
Ultimately, this project is a clear reflection of what thoughtful child-friendly branding can achieve: a brand that is not only visually appealing but also deeply connected to the mission it represents. Inspire Together now has an identity that supports their story and helps them connect meaningfully with the children, families, and communities they serve.
