
We partnered with HBS Connect to elevate their original logo into a bold, modern brand identity that reflects their expertise in IT services. Our collaboration with HBS Connect was a standout example of how meaningful partnerships can lead to impactful outcomes in Wexford logo design. From the outset, we were entrusted with a unique challenge: to enhance and elevate an existing logo concept while preserving its original spirit. HBS Connect, a Wexford-based IT services provider, had a strong foundation in place thanks to an initial concept from their founder, Helmut. Our goal was to transform this into a cohesive brand identity that would feel modern, professional, and relevant to the tech industry.
The project began with a deep dive into the existing logo. Rather than starting from scratch, we saw an opportunity to build on what was already working. This approach allowed us to maintain consistency with the client’s vision while exploring fresh possibilities. Our design team analysed the existing shape, structure, and symbolism, using it as a springboard to develop a refined and future-proof identity that would align with the best in Wexford logo design.
We began with research. Understanding HBS Connect’s market, competitors, and customer base was essential to creating a brand identity that would stand out. As a tech-focused business, it was vital that the brand conveyed reliability, innovation, and connectivity. We explored typefaces that felt modern yet grounded, and experimented with colour palettes that combined technological professionalism with a human touch. Blue and grey tones dominated the final palette, balancing corporate assurance with contemporary appeal—hallmarks of strong Wexford logo design.
With the direction set, we moved into the design phase. We produced several iterations of the logo, playing with geometric refinement, spacing, and symmetry. Our goal was to keep the essence of the original concept but polish it for clarity and usability across digital and print platforms. Feedback from Helmut and the HBS Connect team was integral. Their responsiveness and insight helped us tweak and perfect every detail until we reached a version that felt complete.
From the logo, we expanded the identity into a full branding suite. This included typography guidelines, colour usage, logo variations, and digital asset templates. The resulting brand guidelines empower HBS Connect to remain consistent across all touchpoints—from business cards to their website and presentations.
