The Creative Process

Our collaboration with DBM Accountants on their Wexford stationery design project began with a shared goal: to create a visual identity that is professional, trustworthy, and consistent across every touchpoint. In an industry where first impressions matter, great stationery can signal attention to detail, reliability, and polish—values that DBM wanted to highlight through every communication they sent out.

We started with a discovery session to understand DBM’s branding challenges, day-to-day needs, and aspirations. It became clear that while their existing materials were functional, they lacked cohesion. Our job was to unify their visual identity through a thoughtful and strategic Wexford stationery design approach—one that would work equally well in print and digital formats.

Next, we reviewed DBM’s current branding and recommended subtle adjustments to colour, layout, and type hierarchy to improve legibility and consistency. These adjustments served as the visual foundation for the rest of the Wexford stationery design package.

We developed several design directions for key materials: letterheads, business cards, compliment slips, branded folders, and envelope layouts. Each option was created with DBM’s audience in mind—clear information hierarchy, strategic white space, and easy-to-read typography that gives a sense of structure and authority.

Throughout the Wexford stationery design process, we shared concepts with DBM for feedback and refinement. This collaborative approach ensured the final assets felt authentic to the brand and functional in a practical context. One design challenge was balancing brand personality with a conservative tone suitable for financial professionals—a challenge we met by using colour accents subtly and maintaining clean, grid-based layouts.
